Introductions

Motor Yacht Salt Dancer is 125' of pure luxury, built by world renouned yacht builder Wolter Huisman. Salt Dancer boasts an expansive main salon and aft deck. She offers five spacious guest cabins, all with ensuite, plus separate crew quarters. Salt Dancer highlights her Dutch Heritage in the quality and beauty of her interior woodwork. The strength and integrity of her hull, spacing of her frames, her reliability, performance, and safety are all characteristics of her amazing craftsmanship. Built by Royal Huisman in The Netherlands at their Vollenhove shipyard featuring sophisticated exterior design and engineering by the renowned De Vries Lentsch. She is a timeless, comfortable performer, and is a class act with a legacy to match.

Currently, Salt Dancer is operating as a Bed & Breakfast. Her owner has observed great success in this business in it's first year. This business, along with all of its websites and marketing, is included in the sale price. This business could continue generating income for the next owner, should they decide to continue operating. Profit and Loss statements for the business are available upon request.

Viewing Salt Dancer at her home port in Ft. Pierce, Florida is quite simple. If flying commercial, Treasure Coast International Airport is approximately ten miles from the marina. West Palm Beach International Airport and Orlando International Airport are both approximately one hour from the marina. There are several FBO options in the area. The closest are Baggett and Williams Hawgwild Airports. Both are only minutes from Salt Dancer.

A Letter From Kit Denison, Co-Listing Agent...

The Huisman and Denison families have many intersections in the small, but special fraternity of Custom Yacht and Ship Building.

Both families started in the Shipyard Repair business, building both commercial and Navy ships (in fact, BROWARD MARINE built four Minesweepers for the Royal Dutch Navy in the 1950’s). Both yards also built a long line of wooden yachts, finally transitioning into Aluminum Construction in the 1960’s and 70’s.

“ROYAL” HUISMAN (the “ROYAL” prefix having been granted to the family’s yard by Queen Beatrice of the Netherlands in 1984) gained world-wide acclaim for their famous Sailing Yachts, many over 70 meters, custom-built for royalty and celebrities. BROWARD & DENISON built only Custom Motor Yachts, whose owners included a few celebrities and an occasional head of a country, but mainly for US Entrepreneurs.

I was privileged to meet Wolter Huisman in the late 1980’s, when Ann and I were given a personal tour of their famous shipyard. A year or so later, we returned the favor when he came to Fort Lauderdale to see our young boat-building operation, DENISON MARINE.

I say “young,” because DENISON began construction of its first series of Aluminum Motor Yachts in 1984, while HUISMAN was formed exactly 100 years earlier in 1884, when Jan Huisman set up his yard at Ronduite in Holland.

His son, the legendary Wolter Huisman (1931-2004) joined the company at the age of 13, while I started in the loft and stockroom at the same age.

We invite you to have your own private tour of this Classic Yacht. It will be easy for you to see the ROYAL HUISMAN “DNA” in the styling and joiner work.

Engines

Salt Dancer is powered by twin MTU 8V396TB93's producing 1,090 horsepower each. She is capable of a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. Salt Dancer is equipped with two Northern Lights 42 KW 380 Volt Generators, and an Atlas shore power converter

Exterior

Salt Dancer offers a very unique profile. She has classic lines that compliment the era of her launch. Her Aft Deck is open and airy with overhead coverage from the boat deck. There are two cocktail tables which easily convert to a full dining table with the addition of a matching varnished teak insert, as well as two built in lounges w/coffee tables. The walk around teak decks and high cap rails make accessing the bow simple, safe, and enjoyable.

Aft of the transom on the swim platform, is a door leading to the lazarette that contains backup steering and a complete dive center. There is an onboard Bauer dive compressor with eight aluminum, and four steel scuba tanks. The lazarette can also be used as a work area, and for storage.

Owner's Office/Library

Built with your time in mind, Salt Dancer offers a large, on deck, owner's office, or library. The office features the same amazing woodwork seen throughout the yacht, computer connections, a beautiful leather sofa, and storage for hundreds of books. There are large windows, that allow a plethora of natural light, unless you choose to draw the curtains. This room, used as an office while at sea, will provide you with the ability to "reconnect", but only if you must.

Main Salon

The Main Salon offers handsomely appointed furnishings in neutral tones with beautiful paneling of African Striped Mahogany and window treatments employing an elegant embroidered fabric. To starboard is a stand behind bar with leather upholstered bar chairs, a refrigerator, ice machine, and ample cabinetry for glass and bottle storage. To port is a stairwell down to three guest cabins. Forward on port is a pop up television from a credenza. To Starboard is a large "L" shaped sofa. The coffee table has tremendous character, and is supported by a beautiful brass propeller that can be appreciated through the glass top. The sofa faces port and aft, offering a breathtaking 180 degree view through large windows.

Going forward, there is a hallway to port with large windows, that connects the main saloon, owners office, interior staircase to the wheelhouse, the galley, a day head, and all the way forward to the formal dining room.

Galley

The chef's galley is located forward of the owner's office on starboard. The well equipped galley is capable of producing formal dinners for seated guests, or endless canapé's for your cocktail reception. There is a watertight door to the main deck starboard for convenient and discreet loading of provisions. There’s also a dishwasher, microwave, conventional oven, and a four burner stove. The galley is equipped with two oversized, industrial refrigerator units.

Formal Dining

Forward on the main deck is the formal dining room. The dining room is capable of accommodating ten seated guests. The African Mahogany has been carried throughout, and the soft goods are classy and elegant. The aft bulkhead houses China cabinets for storage. This room boasts a spectacular 180 degree view. There are two downward staircases adjacent to the formal dining room. One is at the entrance to the room, nearest the portside hallway. This stairway leads to two guest cabins. The full beam master, and a large twin room, which can be made into a queen room. The other staircase is at the forward point in the formal dining room, and this one leads to the crew quarters.

Accommodations

In the forward guest accommodations you will find the full beam Master Stateroom. The master cabin offers a queen berth with a beautiful mahogany headboard. Light paneling with mahogany accents continue the classy design. There is a full beam head with double sinks, bidet, and a Jacuzzi bath tub.

The second forward stateroom with en-suite offers a full beam twin room, which can be converted to a queen bed.

The aft three staterooms all offer en-suite amenities as well. The first stateroom offers a double bed, the second is a twin room, and the third, a full beam king suite.
