Overview
SEA RAY SORENTO S24 SPORT BOAT AND TRAILER
Presenting one of the sought-after Sorrento luxury series from Sea Ray sport boats, alluringly styled in a desirable green. This singularly owned vessel has been rigorously cared for and rejuvenated over its lifespan, and unique among its peers, has never been left exposed to overnight rain.
The S24 comes fitted with a Penchanga hull straight off the factory line and maneuvers like a high-end sports car, pitching perfectly against glassy smooth or choppy waters alike. Its remarkable handling makes it seem as if it was years ahead of its era. When it comes to water-skiing, its performance is unparalleled, having pulled six skiers along simultaneously.
The cuddy cabin serves as a cozy space for two, and with the camper canvas extended, can accommodate up to five. If planning to stay on the water overnight, rest assured that the boat comes equipped with a chemical toilet, dual battery system, a sink, and abundant LED lighting. Boasting a top speed of 45 MPH, it maintains good fuel efficiency at cruising speed with a modest consumption of 3 miles per gallon. A week-long trip of island camping, including skiing and touring, won't normally exhaust a full tank of gas.
It is worth noting that the S24 has never required bottom painting given that it typically remains in the water for no more than ten days at a stretch. Thanks to Sea Ray's quintessential fiberglass liner construction and defensive winter covering using a trucker’s tarp, the boat remains free from the risk of wood rot. The trailer, specially ordered from the factory, features double the standard number of rollers, ensuring not just ease in launching and retrieval, but also superior support to the boat.
