SUPERSTRUCTURE:

The 400  Sundancer superstructure consists of the side and bow decks, and a slightly crowned cabin top area to allow for head room in the cabin.  Constructed in FRP and finished in bright white gel coat.  A radar arch of similar construction and matching finish is installed aft near the cockpit area, housing the ship's antennas.

AFT COCKPIT:

Large aft cockpit with U-shaped white vinyl seating for 6 - 8, with white cocktail table that can be stowed away for additional room. 
Transom door to port  
This area includes flip-out step pads to assist in stepping up to the side decks, hot and cold shower head to port, port side sink and U-Line icemaker. 
Starboard aft is a storage locker

COCKPIT HELM AREA:

Located to starboard with captain chair.  To the left of the captain's chair is additional beach seating for 2 - 3.  The helm dash is finished in tan gel coat and simulated wood grain plastic bezel around the dash instruments.  To port is a sliding door leading down to the cabins.

WINDSHIELD:

A curved windshield with stainless-steel frame surrounds the cockpit helm area and stretches from port to starboard of the radar arch.  The center windshield panel electrically opens.  Port and starboard windshield wipers.

CANVAS:

An extensive canvas system covers of stainless-steel tubing, tan canvas, clear strato glass panels, screen the aft cockpit and cockpit helm areas

Interior Layout

DESCRIPTION:

The port companionway steps lead tot he port side of the galley and main salon.  Aft is the starboard and aft guest quarters.  Forward and to port is the head.  

Aft guest quarters double as a sitting area complimenting the salon, and easily converts to a sleeping area for two.  The head is to starboard.

The main stateroom features a pedestal bed, storage locker and drawers with nearby head / bath.  There is a sink vanity, VacuFlush head, and separate stall shower.

The starboard side seating area in the salon converts to a berth.

Natural light and ventilation is through port lights, window panels, and hatches.

GALLEY:

The galley is located to port and features lacquered cherry wood doors, drawers and panels.
