Accommodations & Layout

The 44 Sea Ray Sundancer has been one of Sea Ray's most popular models and for good reason.  A perfect blend of interior and exterior space, timeless good looks and the performance to match.   Stepping onboard through the transom door the cockpit has a huge u-shaped settee to starboard, cockpit table and wetbar to port with a cockpit refrigerator. Mounted above the wetbar and across from the settee is a new Samsung LED TV which is easily seen while lounging on the cockpit seats.  Just forward is the full featured helm with dual large screen chart plotters, radar, autopilot, vhf radio and Fusion stereo control.  The helm is finished in rich woodgrain paneling and a wood trimmed tilt steering wheel.  The cockpit has the optional air conditioning and heat, fresh canvas and hardtop.  Just aft of the cockpit on the swim platform is a Hurley bracket system for a tender and a Walker Bay rigid bottom inflatable with 5hp Honda Four Stroke (included in ship's inventory).  Forward on the bow is a sunpad with custom cushions and raised back rests.
Down below the cabin is full of natural light, rich high gloss woodwork and soft neutral colored softgoods.  The salon features a settee to port with table.  The settee does pull out to a double berth when needed.  The salon TV drops down from the ceiling at a push of a button  and retracts neatly when not in use.   The galley has abundant storage in drawers and cabinets, solid surface countertop, glass stovetop, microwave and separate refrigerator and freezer.  Aft of the salon is the mid-cabin that can stay open to the salon and provide extra seating with an L-shaped settee.   When it is time for the evening to end, this area easily converts to a double berth with privacy sliding screen and its own updated Samsung flat screen TV.  What makes the 44 Dancer so popular is that not only is there this wonderful guest space to sleep but there is a private guest head that doubles as the day head as well.   That leaves a very private master stateroom forward that has a centerline queen berth and a split configuration to its head with the toilet and sink to port and a large separate walk in shower to starboard.

Deck, Hull & Construction

The owner of "No Baggage" had the bottom paint removed and taken down to gelcoat in 2017 and then a barrier coat was applied and repainted for a clean, smooth bottom without paint build up.  At the same time the running gear including shafts and props were replaced.  The isinglass in the aft curtain was also replaced in 2017.  The boat sees regular maintenance both mechanically and cosmetically and has just had a full cooler service including heat exchangers, oil coolers and fuel coolers in February of 2019.
