Crew Rest was built in New Jersey, but found her way to the fresh waters of Montreal, Canada where she was purchased by her current owners in 2016. She made the trip down the Atlantic ICW to Florida, before crossing over to the Bahamas to be kept full time for several years.
Modifications have been made over the years which improve the livability and cruising comfort of Crew Rest. The vessel includes a new Sea Mark bimini and enclosure installed in December, 2019 and fresh Island 44 antifouling bottom paint. The bow and stern thrusters make her easy to maneuver in any docking conditions. The bow and stern thrusters make her easy to maneuver in any docking conditions. She is ready for her next Captain and crew! There are several options for boarding Crew Rest. A swim platform with swim ladder is convenient for boarding from floating docks or from the water. From there, a stainless steel circular staircase leads to the aft deck. There are also side entrances, forward of the aft deck, to board from fixed docks, using the included portable stairs.
The aft deck on Crew Rest is ready for entertaining. The amenities include: a small refrigerator, outdoor wicker-style chairs with cushions, a teak cooler box, a teak hexagon-shaped butterfly table which stores folded flat in its fitted cover, a wet bar with cold (only) water, a mounted Napoleon grill, and a mounted flat screen TV that lifts to reveal storage.
The carpeted bridge is accessed from the aft deck via a wide ladder. Twin Pompanette chairs are available for the Captain and Navigator. Guest seating is on an L-shaped settee to port and aft.

A two-tone ultra suede L-shaped settee, with storage, is to port and aft. The upholstered walls are also ultra-suede. The wall directly above the settee is small glass tiles. The carpeting on the sole was replaced in 2019. The headliner is in very good condition.
Moving forward, on the port wall there is an ice maker, as well as a cabinet door that drops down to reveal a bar. The storage in the settee includes wine bottle storage. There are wood blinds on the sliding windows.
Crew Rest has a unique convertible Italian-made table in the salon. It is easily raised and lowered from coffee table to dining table height. It also flips open to double in size. The current owner has entertained up to ten people for dinner, and it is a great place to play cards and games.
The owner is also leaving an inflatable mattress that conforms to the L-shaped settee, and inflates to the same height, to make a king-sized mattress in the salon for extra guests.
The starboard side includes cherry storage cabinets, and a large, anchored, flat screen TV. The engine room is accessed through the salon floor. A smoked glass wall with a Corian ledge is on either side of the steps leading down to the galley and dinette. The galley is located to port, down from the salon. It features a refrigerator/freezer, Corian countertops, a Force 10 three burner flat glass cooktop, a combination washer/dryer, ample galley storage in both cabinets and drawers, a hot/cold sink with faucet, and a solid wood sole. The forward facing L-shaped counter configuration gives the galley a lot of open floor space.
The dinette on Crew Rest is to starboard and was recently reupholstered in two-tone leatherette. It has storage beneath the cushions. The table in the dinette is a high/low table. The central vacuum is located beneath the dinette. There is more storage located in the wall above the dinette, on the starboard side. The door aft reveals really unique stemmed glass storage, with lighting. The owner states that the glasses never moved, even when crossing to or from the Bahamas!
