Overview

"MAVERICK" is an impressive example of this classic mid 1990’s Sports Cruiser. The owners enjoy the boat regularly in the summer months and are meticulous in their care. The Volvo KAD 42 sterndrive engines (with only 888 hours) have benefitted by the addition of stainless steel pulleys (replacing the original mild steel ones), full documented servicing (engines out) & propeller replacement. Flexible teak has been added on the bathing platform and in the cockpit, the battery charger replaced, additional sea-water strainers fitted, replacement Morse controllers with low friction Teflon cables, a 240v socket fitted in the cockpit, replacement 6 blade bow thruster prop, led lighting and the canopy plastic glass replaced. Accomodation

Boarding via a bathing platform and through a central walkway, the impressive cockpit has extensive wrap-around seating (original fluted with and blue vinyl upholstery in beautiful condition) with port and starboard fold-away tables to provide superb al-fresco dining and a clean, uncluttered look when stowed. The helmsman and navigator enjoy forward facing seating. Dropping down into the light and airy cabin, there is starboard access to the twin bunk mid-cabin and the single separate shower compartment with sea toilet. The galley is on the port side with generous cream leather seating around a cabin table forward. Access to the spacious double mast cabin is via a separate door forward. The cabin has a fresh, clean appearance with impressive light maple bulkheads and cream lacquered cabinetry.
