Overview

Sea Fever is a 1987 Symbol 44 Sun Deck MK II, and A VETERAN OF AMERICA’S GREAT LOOP. Symbol was founded in 1982 and established a solid reputation for quality “semi-custom” vessels built in Taiwan, using skilled labor providing quality craftsmanship.

The two staterooms, with ensuite heads with separate showers, as well as the additional dinette and flybridge berths, make Sea Fever the perfect vessel for two cruising couples or a family, for cruising local waters or offshore islands, for long weekends or living-aboard full time. Sea Fever can do it all.

The current owner, a mechanical engineer, spent many months updating Sea Fever before cruising the Atlantic Coast, the Florida Keys, and the islands of the Bahamas. Sea Fever is outfitted for extended cruising and life at anchor. During a recent three month cruise to the islands of the Bahamas, Sea Fever only spent two nights docked at marinas, and never needed to purchase water.

The owner reports that she runs very economically on one engine, doing 7.5 knots, while sipping about 4.3 GPH. However, Sea Fever is capable of planing at 19 knots.
