CARROLL MARINE
CARROLL MARINE - the legendary sailing regattas
CARROLL MARINE is the US shipyard that produced racing sailboats for regattas and competitions. The company manufactured such legendary vessels as Farr 36, Farr 395, Farr 40 and 1D35. In late June 2003, the organization ceased to exist, it was closed due to the bankruptcy.
The company was founded in 1984 by Janice and Barry Carroll. The shipyard immediately began to produce the sailboats, that was the main goal and mission of the organization. Throughout its existence, the shipyard produced more than 700 sailing yachts, some of them were built by order of the customers. For example, the vessel Titan XII was custom-made.
In recent years, the shipyard began to work with composite materials and even manufactured several motor yachts. After closing the company left a lot of sailing ships and boats that later were purchased by the dealers. Today, some of the masterpieces of this famous shipyard are on sale, they can be purchased.
The boats are in excellent condition, some were renovated and passed reytayling. There are also the vessels on sale produced by the company according to the individual orders. The boats of this shipyard can still win in the regattas, because the shipyard paid great attention to the speed specifications of the yachts.
