DALLA PIETA

DALLA PIETA is a family Italian shipyard, founded in 1949. It was during this year when the first boat of the company was launched, and the company was founded by Bepi Dalla Pieta. At that time, the vessels were made of traditional materials, and the first yachts were built of precious wood. In particular, the founder of the shipyard used mahogany, it is known for its resistance to moisture and time. During the construction they also used the marine plywood.

Later, the new technology were used. The company quickly mastered the production of boats made of fiberglass. In the model range there were not only the single boats for racing, but also the pleasure boats and motor boats for recreation. The company was expanded by purchasing the production facilities in Fusina-Malcontenta. It received thousands of square meters that allowed to build even the large ships. But the owners of the company continue to adhere to the family traditions and make small, but unique boats.
