GLACIER BAY CATAMARANS

GLACIER BAY CATAMARANS is a series of catamarans made by the World Cat American shipyard. The company began producing these motor yachts in 1986 and have produced them up to this day. The catamarans are made of fiberglass and equipped with the powerful diesel engines Suzuki. The manufacturer experimented a lot with the boats, improving them every year.

Before the shipyard began producing the yachts of this series, the company has been working in the field of shipbuilding for already 25 years. They had their own achievements and know-how. The manufacturer had to test fiberglass and composites in practice. When they developed the first model of catamarans of the range that later became the flagship, the company decided to use fiberglass for production. It protects the hull from damage, but the vessel is made of a conventional timber.

GLACIER BAY CATAMARANS is considered as the reliable and safe vessels for the harshest conditions. They were tested in the waters of the northern seas, and even tested near the glaciers. On these yachts the shipyard team members were travelling and competing on speed.

Today the boats of GLACIER BAY CATAMARANS are even more perfect, because they take into account all the shortcomings of previous models. The vessels are equipped with technological means. They can serve for decades, without creating problems for the owners. The catamarans can travel long distances without stops - this has been confirmed by numerous tests. Some of the vessels are not tested in coastal waters.
