HARTMANN PALMER
HARTMANN PALMER - the motor and sailing yachts
HARTMANN PALMER is a shipbuilding companies having operated in Fort Lauderdale (FL) from 1983 to 1988. They were engaged in design and construction of the yachts.
The company specialized in the motor yachts, but among its models you can also see the sailboats, including those equipped with the redundant engines. Despite the small "service life", the shipyard managed to produceseveral few trawler and cruising yachts that have remained afloat today.
HARTMANN PALMER was building the displacement yachts with the traditional hull design. These vessels could develop a relatively low speed - up to 15 knots (8 knots is a cruising speed), had a few cabins for crew members, equipped with the rig for fuel economy.
It is unknown what caused such an early liquidation of HARTMANN PALMER - the absence of competent management or low popularity of the displacement vessels in the 80s of the last century. One thing is for sure: these yachts can be seen up to this day, they are repaired and renovated. They can be seen at the brokers.
HARTMANN PALMER are sold rarely, and these yachts worth your attention. On board of this vessel you can go on a long cruise and live a few weeks or months, not descending to land.
