PAN OCEANIC MARINE

PAN OCEANIC MARINE - the legend of the seas

The history of the PAN OCEANIC MARINE shipyard began in 1979, when Reese Palley addressed the naval architect Ted Brewer for help. He had to design a separate part of the ship. For the construction of the boat they chose Robert Pancoe - a man who could build a boat in Taiwan. Robert Pancoe became the founder of the shipyard.

The company made the order for Reese Palley and many other orders. The projects for sailing ships were created by Ted Brewer, sometimes the company referred to other naval architects. They produced a lot of cruising sailboats with a length of 38, 43 and 55 feet. Later they began to build the larger ships. For the construction of yachts they used solely new materials: fiberglass, and composites.

The constructions of yachts created by Ted Brewer, were also innovative. The architect developed several successful solutions that made the boats of the shipyard much more faster. The sailboats participated in the competition and proved their worth.

In the 80s the company moved to Philippines due to the fact that Taiwan became less safe. The country's economy was not in the best state, and the owner decided to move the production. In the Philippines, the company continued to work. Today the shipyard does not exist anymore, but there are the original design projects kept by Ted Brewer. The shipbuilders can purchase the developments of an engineer to implement them.

The sailing ships of the company are still available, they are in excellent condition. The yachts can be purchased at the brokers.
