Overview

“Spica”, is a custom built vessel and was designed by the world-renowned architects Jean Berret and Olivier Racoupeau. Built in aluminum, with a draft (retractable keel) of 4 – 10 feet, “Spica” is absolutely comparable to a catamaran´s draft with all the advantages a monohull can present. Fully appropriate for shallow harbors and anchorages or dry out safe on a sheltered beach at low tide. The hull is optimized for performance and safety. Lightweight aluminum (16 tons) and a seaworthy shaped hull grants fast average speeds. 6 mm (deck) to 10 mm (bottom) thick aluminum, 2 welded watertight bulkheads front + aft and absolutely solid rudder + keel mounts provide 100 % safety on open waters.

The vessel is equipped with any imaginable equipment for long-term cruising and supplies comfort all around. Spica is a first-hand vessel and was always thoroughly maintained.
