Sea Raven  was repowered in 2007 with twin Cummins QSB5.9 330 hp diesel engines. New ZF 1.53:1 marine transmissions were added at the same time. Dripless shaft seals were replaced in Sept '15.

The lockable cabin door opens to reveal a surprisingly roomy cabin. There is a 4 person dinette on the port side, this dinette can be lowered to make a sleeper. There are storage drawers beneath the dinette cushions. A large cabinet (originally configured as a hanging locker, now shelves) is just forward of the dinette, and the V-Berth is ahead. V-Berth space is roomy with an overhead hatch, storage along both sides, as well as below the below the cushions and beneath the floor. All cabin fabrics have been replaced since 2009.

A flat screen HDTV folds down from the ceiling and is connected to a Shakespeare HD over-air antenna (both installed in 2013).

The cockpit features two large cushions atop the motor boxes and cockpit coaming pads. All of these cushions are easily removable and store inside of the cabin when not in use. There is fresh and raw water washdown, and the 30 amp Shore Power connection is here also. There is a full beam Teak swim platform, with a folding swim ladder, plus single Spreader outriggers. In the cockpit floor is a mounting plate suitable for a Pedestal Launcher for fishing, or a Pedestal Table for entertaining.
