Overview

S.Y. ROX STAR was designed as a safe, world cruising sail yacht with comfort and space to rival that of a motor yacht. With a strong steel construction, she was built to RINA classification and Malta Charter requirements.

Under sail, ROX STAR is capable of 18 knots in 30 knots of wind, whilst her twin MAN 624 HP engines provide a top speed of 15 knots (cruising @ 12 knots at 1600 rpm) under power.

With a Gross Tonnage of 233, Rox Star's interior has been imagined by the world class design studio of K-architectes following a theme of rock music. There is luxurious accommodation for 10 guests in 5 spacious double cabins (master is full beam) plus 3 crew cabins for 6 crew.

The 60 m2 main saloon is spacious and comfortable for guests and includes a bar area. There are large windows throughout to provide sea views, whilst skylights in both the main saloon and master cabin enhance the feeling of space and natural light. All guest cabins are en-suite and luxuriously equipped with high tech AVIT facilities throughout. The Master cabin has a specially designed marble Turkish bath and steam room.

There is also a separate guest access to the beach club aft and generous head heights (min. 2m) throughout. The beach club is exceptional for a sailing yacht with a special opening rear door to sea level. There is also capacity to store 2 Jet skis and diving gear.

The spacious galley is equipped with commercial grade equipment incl. 3 ovens, special designed cold room, wine storage, dish heater and salamander. Other features include an elevated television in the saloon, automatic saloon door in stainless steel material, a projector TV and carbon fibre detailing.
