Overview

Classic Burger! M/Y Cindy has been in one family and passed down through 2 generations. Cruising in fresh water for most of her life, CINDY is looking for a new steward to ensure she has many more years on the water. When you own a Burger you become a member of a family of discerning yachtsmen and women. The nostalgia that echos through the souls of these boats makes great conversation of times past. Whether used as your summer cottage on the water, or a day cruiser for sunny days, Cindy is sure to create many more friends and memories in the years to come.

Cindy was build with a steel hull and wood superstructure in 1951 at the Burger Boat Company in Manitwoc, WI. Initially named Delores, Cindy has has had several upgrades since her launch. She is powered by twin 671 Detroit Diesel engines with relatively low hours that were overhauled in 1992 to improve performance. The superstructure has been epoxied and glassed in to preserve the previous wood construction and the hull and topsides underwent a new Imron paint job in 2013. In the mid 80's the entire electrical system was updated from fuses to a more modern (and safer) breaker system as photographed. A Westerbeke 7.5kw diesel generator was installed to operate the hotel load while underway. On the main deck you will find the helm station with large bench seating which allows unobstructed views around the entire boat. There is a wet bar fridge and ice maker on deck. The helm station is covered by a hardtop that extends about half way back and then a bimini top which extends further another quarter of the way over the aft deck seating area. As you walk around the side decks you will feel secure with high teak hand rails. Once on the bow, there is bench seating, 2 dock box lockers for storage, an electric windlass and bow staff for displaying your preferred yacht club burgee!

Below deck, there are 3 staterooms and 2 heads which can accommodate up to 6 overnight guests. The main saloon is highlighted by the large windows on the port and starboard side which allow ample sunlight into the interior. There is un-affixed furniture for lounging with friends and built in cabinetry for storage. As you proceed forward through the saloon and down the next couple stairs you enter the galley which has sufficient counter space, a 3 burner stove top, oven, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, double well sink, cabinets, and a food prep cutting board counter surface. There is a booth style settee for dining indoors attached in the galley. Forward of the galley is the v-berth with 2 bunks. The engine room is accessed through the galley under the stairway. From the main saloon going aft is where you will find the remaining 2 staterooms.
