Overview

Introduced in 1998, the Carver 530 was a striking departure from the conservative, boring designs of earlier Carver models. Pilothouse yachts have become increasingly popular in recent years thanks to their sleek profiles and all weather cruising capabilities, and judging from her sales success it's evident that the Carver 530 came along at the right time. Built on a modified V hull with a deep forefoot and shallow keel, the 530's three-stateroom cherrywood interior is arranged with the galley in the salon in typical pilothouse fashion. The full-beam owner's stateroom is amidships, and the salon has close to 7 feet of headroom. Forward, the dinette/pilothouse has a wraparound helm with a tilt-back swivel seat, direct bridge access and excellent visibility.
