Main Description
Carly Anna is a 2005 Catalina 310 that accommodates 2 couples
comfortably and is setup for short hand sailing. She is stiff in a
breeze, has a roller furling jib, and her large cockpit is comfortable
and well laid out. All lines lead into the cockpit and two self tailing
winches are set beside the skipper. She features a 26 horsepower
Universal diesel engine, full function galley with refrigeration and
queen size aft berth. If you are looking for a great weekend cruiser for
friends or short handed then come see Carly Anna.
DECK AND RIGGING
Carly Anna is special built for short hand sailing. Catalina designers
set the 2 two speed lewmar winches within easy reach of the skipper, and
all rigging lines go through fairleads set at the front of the large
cockpit. There is good visibility from the helm, a large table, ample
side seating, and two rail mounted aft seats. There is a pass thru
transom and aft swim ladder. Going forward there are stainless steel
grabrails, stainless steel stanchions and wire lifelines. There is a
small centerline opening hatch amidship and a larger opening hatch
forward. The main mast has inmast furling and there is a roller furling
on the jib. The bow pulpit is stainless steel and the anchor locker is
in the deck below. The standing rigging is twisted wire with
turnbuckles, and there are molded in jib tracks.
ACOMMODATIONS
Catalina designers added many of the features found only on larger
vessels and created a ?big boat with a small hull?. Four angled steps
lead down into the honey toned teak interior where the yacht like finish
is apparent. There is a large double aft berth under the cockpit with
lighting and storage compartments, and a small, angled chart table. The
forward berth is separated by a bulkhead with an opening. It features
custom mattress, opening ports, teak shelf, and large drawer storage.
The salon area has a settee with dining table to port, a small love seat
and larger lounge seat to starboard.
