Overview

The Catalina 30 is a great family cruiser/racer, known for a very spacious interior and respectable sailing characteristics it has withstood the test of time as one of the most popular production yachts ever built.   Seavey features many recent upgrades including completely new propulsion (engine, fuel system, exhaust system, propeller, batteries); main sail serviced & canvas refurbished in 2016, jib, head & holding tank new in 2012; re-upholstered seating and birth cushions  Newly built custom companionway screen inserts 2016.  With these major upgrades Seavey just needs a little spit and polish to make her shine!

Catalina 30 Vessel Walkthrough

From the large cockpit, the side decks and cabin top are wide and easily traversed, an anchor locker is found on the fore-deck.  Entering the main salon from the cockpit companionway, the galley is found to port and nav station to starboard, with a quarter-birth starboard aft.  The salon features an L-shaped settee to port and a bench seat-birth on the starboard side.  Moving forward from the salon, the head is to port, with a hanging locker/chest of drawers to starboard.  A v-birth cabin follows all the way forward.

Catalina 30 Accomodations

Seavey offers a v-birth cabin forward. The salon features a port side L-shaped settee that converts to a double sized birth and a single birth to starboard, with a quarter-birth aft starboard. 

Catalina 30 Salon

The salon is roomy with very good headroom.  A starboard L-shaped settee is found on the port side with a bench seat to starboard.  The nav station is found on the starboard side aft, with a quarter-birth behind.  The galley is found opposite the nav station to port.
