"Why a DeFever 49? Because from the field of trawlers to choose from, the 49 fit the profile of what is considered to be an affordable, well-designed and well-built, long-range cruiser with safety, comfort, roominess and aesthetics to please. Needless to say, life onboard has been filled with adventure and peace, and we have been touched by the kindness of friends who just happen to own dreamboats called DeFevers. There is a saying among this group, which follows each safe return to the docks, and it goes, ‘Thank you, Arthur!’”
