Overview

This 1975 DeFever 40' Passagemaker with its classic design by Arthur DeFever for long range cruising or a short trip to the keys is absolutely pristine and in turn key condition.   With her twin Perkins 135 hp diesel engines cruising speed is 7 knots at 1,400 RPM's while utilizing only 2.5 GPH.  There are two staterooms, two heads, spacious salon, fully equipped galley, upper and lower helm, and plenty of seating on the flybridge.  The Bimini top is easily retractable for low bridge clearance and/or the Great Loop.  This DeFever 40 has been well cared for by her current owner with proper maintenance, improvements, and upgrades, and she looks every bit as good in person as the photos show in this ad.  If you are looking for a strong, seaworthy, and economical classic trawler, this is your vessel.
