Overview

GOLDEN 3 is an 80’ luxury flybridge motoryacht, built by Dominator and delivered in 2015.  Twin 1800 Hp MAN engines with low hours.  Twin Gyro stabilizers offer comfort underway and at anchor.  She cruises at 25 knots with a top speed of 35 knots.  The vessel sleeps 8 guests in 4 cabins and 2 crew cabins accommodate 3 crew cabins.  GOLDEN 3 has the layout, features and quality to serve as a family yacht or a charter machine. 

Interior and Accomodations

GOLDEN 3 is a beautifully illuminated yacht with a clean, understated modern décor.  Italian designer Alberto Mancini made an interior which harmonizes luxury and comfort.

The salon and dinging area have a serene, peaceful feeling.  A leather sofa and extra-long chaise lounge provide cozy, inviting seating for relaxing and entertaining.  Large windows bring in lots of sunlight and electronics are cleverly hidden by slightly smoked mirrors.  The focal point is an exquisitely finished Botticino marble bulkhead.  Known for its beauty and strength, this very fine marble is continued throughout the yacht creating a subtle, cohesive design.  

Light Oak hardwood flooring is used on the main deck and guest cabins.  Neutral fabrics and finishes make the boat easily customizable to her new owner’s tastes.  Interior layout comfortably accommodates 8 guests in 4 cabins, each with ensuite head.  Master cabin has a centerline king berth, walk-in shower and lounge area.  VIP stateroom has a full centerline berth.  Full guest cabin to starboard and a twin cabin to port.  

Galley is outfitted with white, high-glass cabinets and contrasting black marble countertops.  A breakfast bar/prep-station is located under the window.  Appliances by Miele and LG.

Exterior and Deck

Golden 3 features a planning fiberglass hull and superstructure, with teak decking throughout.  Ample spaces on the exterior allow for guests to find their perfect spot.  

Flybridge deck is equipped with a bar and stools, plus comfortable lounge seating for casual meals.  Sunbeds fore and aft ensure plenty of space for sunbathing.  The glass paneled aft railing gives a complete view of one’s surroundings.  A contrasting carbon fiber hard top provides shade when desired.  

Alfresco dining for 8 around a large teak table is located on the aft deck.  Port and starboard staircases lead down to the teak hydraulic swim platform.  Launch the Sea-doo, and this becomes an additional place to soak up the sun. 

The bow offers a more private space to relax, outfitted with a sunpad, sofa, bimini top and teak table.

Boarding is at the port and starboard sides.

Construction

Beneath GOLDEN 3’s sleek lines and low profile is outstanding construction.  Dominator builds a boat as solid as any similar vessel.  The Dominator 800 hull is made using vacuum-infusion technology with layers of sandwiched laminate and fiberglass.  This method not only reduces the weight of the boat, it also gives the hull additional strength.  Interior doors are notably heavy so internal noise is lessened when underway.  GOLDEN 3 was built to CE Category A (high class cruising) standards.

Engine and Electrical

GOLDEN 3 is powered by twin 1,800hp MAN diesel engines (625 hours) that cruise comfortably at 25 knots, and are capable of reaching 35 knots.  Two Seakeeper 9 gyroscopic stabilizers provide top notch motion stabilization.  She is equipped with 2x Onan 24 kW generators (Port: 1,03628 hours; Starboard: 1,022 hours). 60Hz, 120/240V electrical system.
