Overview

Dyer Boats was founded in 1930 by Bill Dyer and the facility is located in Warren, RI. Dyer has built over 350 29’ over the last 60 plus years.  PERSISTENCE, a trunk cabin series, became popular in the 1970’s as rising gas prices drove away the typical gas guzzling cruisers. Of the four configurations available, the 29’ trunk cabin quickly became known for her economic cruising capabilities, allowing owners versatility from day boating to short term near coastal excursions.  PERSISTENCE represents one of the most factory customized 29’s to come out of the Warren, RI facility and is ready for her new owner.

PERSISTENCE (hull #231) has had two major refits (2002/2014) since her 1983 launch including complete YANMAR repower, hull and topside paint, new bow thruster and upgraded systems throughout.
