We are very proud to offer "Reel Rookie", an absolute beautiful classic pedigree Egg Harbor sportfish. Galley up with a 3 stateroom / 2 head layout. Recent refit included a new interior, new electronics, updated house & deck design and new paint. Her bulletproof Twin Cummins 903VTA's run strong and are barely broken in with only 2,500 original Chesapeake brackish water hours !

46' Egg Harbor Interior Features
The interior of "Reel Rookie" must be seen to be appreciated . New carpeting , window treatments, and sofa make the salon a very comfortable space . Overhead there is rod storage. Forward and below are 3 separate sleeping areas and 2 heads . A custom teak and holly sole is throughout the lower deck level . (6) portlights with screens and (3) overhead hatches provide plenty of light and cross ventilation. The bow stateroom has a V-berth with under bed storage and a large hanging locker . The upper and lower bunks to starboard also feature under bed drawers. Both of these sleeping areas share a roomy head with separate shower . To port is the ensuite master featuring a double lower berth and a single upper berth, ample storage and large head with separate shower.

46' Egg Harbor Mechanical/Electrical
"Reel Rookie" has a documented history of good preventive maintenance . Powered by Twin Cummins VTA 903's rated at 450 hp each which provide an effortless comfortable cruise of 20 knots @ 2200 rpm. Turning 3-Blade Nibral Props on upgraded 2" shafts. The current owner reports engine hours of 2,500 based on logs . These 'Bulletproof' engines were designed to be much more fuel efficient than Detroits and have a reputation of running 6,000 hours before a rebuild . These 903 cubic inch motors were the same the Government used for the M2/M3 Bradley Fighting Vehicles. Since so many of these engines are still running strong, the parts network will be available for a long time.
- 15KW Onan Generator - (The standard for this model boat was only a 7.5KW). This generator runs great with 1,300 Hours. Rebuilt for a cost of $3,500 with new waterpump, hoses, alternator, and starter by Wenger's Motor Service.

46' Egg Harbor Deck Features
In 1994 an upgraded house was installed with a redesigned side window profile. Over the recent years, the flybridge sole and foredeck were rebuilt and reinforced with marine plywood and resin. The forward salon glass windows were removed and replaced with solid fiberglass. Bow rails were removed to achieve that custom Carolina look , 3 new bowdeck hatches were added , and a new synthetic teak bowpulpit built by PlasTeak was installed . In 2012 the original Rybovich full tower was removed and capped off creating the current half tower design . The interior salon walls were rebuilt, and the aft bulkhead was replaced . The original Rybovich fighting chair stands proudly in the cockpit . Within the past 2 years the entire boat has had 3 coats of gloss Interlux Perfection Plus topside paint and all exterior teak is sealed with 6 coats of low maintenance Sikkens Cetol and 3 coats of clear .
