Description
Freedom Yachts has incorporated the best ideas of interior layout, and a modern concept for rigging, into a unique series of yachts that has proven to be a winner. The tapered carbon fiber unstayed mast distinguishes a Freedom yacht from the traditional wire supported aluminum tube that is the hallmark of virtually all other sailing vessels. The uncluttered deck is safe and no chain plates mean no leaks! Below there is ample storage space and headroom. The uncluttered cockpit gives way to easy access to the main saloon. Two electric winches in the cockpit make handling sheets and halyards very simple and easy. The jib is self tacking, virtually eliminating any need to go forward.
Overview
LIBERTY is an American made recreational keelboat, built out of fiberglass with wood trim. It has a free-standing fractional rig, an internally mounted spade rudder, and a winged keel. You will notice when you step below high quality precision joinery and finish done by American craftsmen. This is the perfect sized vessel for two couples or a family of 4 or 5 for coastal cruising or weekending.
