Namaste is a traditional, cutter-rigged ketch with teak toe and taff-rails, wide side decks, and a large cockpit. She has a fiberglass hull with a full keel, bow thruster and burns one gallon of diesel per hour at a cruising speed of 7 mph. The interior and exterior teak are in great condition and the decks are nonslip paint. All new canvas, cushions and upholstery (blue) were added in 2015.
This much loved fresh water yacht has just traveled 2,200 miles leaving Charlevoix, Michigan in June of 2015. She has been with the current owner since 2000 and during their ownership they have made many upgrades and have maintained her well.
You can access Namaste's large cockpit from either the port or starboard side decks. The cockpit has
teak bench seats, one to port, one to starboard and one along the transom for the helm. The helm is
centered mid way back in the cockpit and features a custom made rope seat. A large teak aft deck
adds to the spaciousness of the cockpit. The bench seats have storage compartments underneath,
two additional storage compartments to port and starboard of the helm seat and an addition storage
compartment in the aft deck provide ample storage. You can access the foredeck by both port and
starboard walkways.
A companionway in the cockpit forward provides access to the interior and immediately into the galley
and salon. The L-shaped galley is immediately to port with a chart table to starboard that converts to
a quarter berth for one adult. Forward of the galley is the salon with port and starboard settees that
double as single berths on either side. A large, fold down and out dinette is on the forward bulkhead
of the salon. Further forward is the wet head to starboard, a hanging locker to port and then the V
berth in the bow.
Namaste can sleep two in the forward V berth, two in the salon on the single bench seats, one to port
and one to starboard and one in the quarter berth below the retractable chart table (no mattress).
Namaste's cockpit has three bench seats (seats 5-7) with new cushions (2015), large storage under
each seat and a large aft deck. The cockpit is protected with a new bimini, dodger and filler panel
(2015). The helm is centered in the cockpit and features:
Navpod Instrument Housing
Teak and stainless steel wheel with autopilot drive motor
Raymarine ST60+ Speed Log (2012)
Raymarine ST60+ Depth Log (2012)
Raymarine ST4000+ Autopilot (2012)

Canvas Helm Cover
The L-shaped galley has Formica counter tops, a stainless steel sink with separate spigot to drain
refrigerator, Origo microwave oven, Shipmate propane three place gimbaled stove with oven, stove
counter top filler and an in counter Adler Barber refrigerator. There is a good amount of storage along
the galley bulkhead and under the counter. Above the stove is the Trident Gas Control Panel and a
large rectangular window with white curtains that provides lots of natural night and the companionway
provides great airflow.
To starboard of the companionway is a retractable chart table that reveals a quarter single berth that
extends under the cockpit. The chart table features:
West Marine Handheld VHF Radio with charger (2012)
Garmin GPSmap 441 chartplotter (2012)
Sony CDX-M10 Drive-S AM/FM/CD/MP3/WMA Stereo (2012)
Raymarine Ray55 VHF Radio with DSC (2012)
Above the chart table is a large rectangular window with white curtains that provide additional light.
Further forward to starboard is a settee that doubles as a single berth and has storage cabinets in the
back and above the settee. There are two reading lights above the settee and a brass oil lamp with
glass globe is on the bulkhead forward. Additionally forward of the starboard settee is a large, high
gloss finished fold down and out dinette table that provides dining for four and features a large
dinnerware cabinet on the bulkhead. Adjacent to the starboard settee is another settee to port that
also converts to a single berth. Additional storage can be found under, behind and above the port
settee. There are two large rectangular windows above the port settee and a single large rectangular
window above the starboard settee. All windows have white curtains and provide plenty of natural
light into the space. The sole is teak and in exceptional condition.
The forward berth is a traditional V berth with new mattress and center filler to form one double berth.
There is storage under the berth, a hanging locker to port and book shelves and reading lights on
both side. A single portlight on each side with white curtains and an overhead hatch with screen
provide ample natural light and airflow. There is a separate entrance to the head to starboard in the V
berth. The sole is teak and in exceptional condition.
Namaste's head is a standard wet head configuration and features a Head-Mate manual flush toilet,
vanity with molded sink, hand-held shower head and a single portlight provides additional light and
