Accommodations Overview

"Marquesa" is a Classic Grand Banks in every way. Entry into the Salon is through a starboard side door. The Lower Helm is forward to starboard. An L-shaped settee is aft to starboard with a dining table. The port side has a settee aft and the Galley forward.  Down three steps aft is the Master Stateroom with a double berth to starboard and a single berth to port. There is an en-suite Head with toilet, basin and shower. Down four steps forward is the VIP Stateroom with a large V-berth and a separate Head with toilet, basin and convenience shower.    Large sliding windows to port and starboard. The windshield is three sections of safety glass, with the center section opening at the bottom.

Additional Comments
  • In 2014 the bottom was peeled in 2 passes. Four layers of fiberglass were then applied to the hull followed by five coats of epoxy barrier coat and two coats of bottom paint. During the repair all through hulls and transducers were removed and replaced as needed.
  • While replacing the tanks the length of exhaust hose from the Vernalift muffler to the exhaust flange was replaced.
