“Bayou A Bud” is a low hour, original owner, Freshwater 42 Grand Banks Europa; offering and a unique opportunity for a new buyer. She has been maintained with no expense spared. The Grand Banks Europa 42 is an evolution of design through many years with a semi-displacement hull and a fine entry forward; hard chines and a full keel for stability. The quality of the craftsmanship is unequalled even by today’s standards of boat building, as is evident with every one of her features.

The Teak decks are hard-laid over fiberglass decks; there are Teak cap rails with Teak bond rails that show the eloquence of a yacht. 

The flush Deck layout is highly desirable, having the Lower Helm opened up to the Galley; then aft is the Salon. The Salon on the same level is the large Aft Deck for entertaining.

The Grand Banks Europa 42 is an evolution of design through many years with a semi-displacement hull and a fine entry forward; hard chines and a full keel for stability. The quality of the craftsmanship is unequalled even by today’s standards of boat building, as is evident with every one of her features.


The Teak decks are hard-laid over fiberglass decks; there are Teak cap rails with Teak bond rails that show the eloquence of a yacht.

WALK-THROUGH

 

“Bayou A Bud” features a large covered Aft Deck with occasional chairs. Enter through sliding Aft Deck doors to a large Salon with an L-shaped settee to port and (2) lounging chairs to starboard facing the L-shaped settee, to create very casual Salon arrangement. A hi /low Salon table doubles as a cocktail table and has two fold-up leaves, that make up a dining table. The entire interior is nicely appointed with Teak with an elegant satin finish. 


The L-shaped Galley is forward of the Salon with a full array of appliances including Princess stainless steel electric stovetop with a built-in microwave, stainless steel basin sink is centered on the counter. The Lower Helm is on the starboard side forward in the Salon across from the Galley with a Pilothouse door to the side deck. 

The Flybridge is large with two bench seats all the way forward both with back to back seats for Flybridge entertaining while at anchor or docked. The seat backs face a large L-shaped seating area with cushions and covers. The Flybridge decking is done with Teak with a cocktail table in front on the L-shaped settee.
