Overview

This vessel was originally built for well known sailor and yachtsman Carlton Mitchell who penned many cruising articles for Yachting Magazine from his writing station in the pilothouse. She was then owned by a South American yachtsman for a brief period before being purchased by her current owner. Our Time is an excellent example of this Salty Blue Water Trawler which has many recent upgrades most of which were performed in North Carolina by the very same craftsman who built her originally. Major refit in 2010 including but not limited to: Main Engines top overhaul 2010 (200 hrs) at which time all engine gauges and alarms were replaced with VDO analog gauges,  fuel removed and tanks cleaned, new Raymarine C120, windows removed and replaced with new glass, all new interior soft goods,  all new lighting fixtures, insulation, new white beadboard headliner, all surfaces refurbished or replaced including new granite counter tops, freestanding freezer, new AC compressors, new converter/inverter and battery charger. She was Awlgripped from the deck up in 2008. This owner spared no expense to get her in top shape. The current owner (since 2012) bought her to do the loop and then put her up for sale. He has added a 10 rigid bottom inflatable w/ a 5hp propane-fueled Lehr outborad., new propane tanks in 2013, all thru hulls inspected and serviced w/ 5 being replaced in 2014 and a new Garmin 714xs GPS map on the flybridge.. He also made a  system to raise and lower the mast which can be easily accomplished by one person. Price reduced neither gen. is running..
