BROKER REMARKS

The Hatteras-53 MY was in production for over 2 decades, and became the standard by which all similar motor yachts were measured.  Workmanship and materials used are to a high marine standard and this vessel has stood up very well over the years.  This boat has had many upgrades including a major overhaul of her engines, and complete awl-grip painted hull.

Her enclosed aft deck offers additional living space, and the large covered flybridge is where most owners will spend their time under way in comfort with a beautiful panoramic view.

Owner Remarks

The boat was purchased in Ohio, in 2010 and had always been a fresh water boat.  Prior to this Hatteras-53, we owned a Swan-53.  But the Swan became too cramped for 2 to enjoy.  This Hatteras felt like a palace compared to living on a sailboat, with her full size galley, queen sized bed, lots of storage, and pure comfort.

After spending our first  winter in the Chesapeake we decided to head South, and get a fresh start in Florida.  We headed down the ICW and enjoyed the 30 day cruising experience.  She handled and performed flawlessly .. we took our time and enjoyed the scenery along the way.  She is also great for entertaining ... and plenty of room for guests.  Now due to changing lifestyles, the time has come to move ashore, which we did.  This boat is easily handled by a couple, providing a great solid feel while underway.

Our hopes are that the next buyers will enjoy her as much as we did.
