Overview

We are extremely pleased for the opportunity to present “WATERMARK”! She is offered for sale by her original owner after enjoying only occasional use during several New England summers. Delivery commenced in 2010 and since then just 255 hours have been logged on the engines. She has been shed stored in the off season thus commonly in use from June through September. The boat has never been fished with use limited to the waters of Long Island Sound and the adjacent Islands. She is an exceptional example of this very successful Hatteras model. The 54 was refreshed in 2007 with many enhancements vs. the earlier boats including Mezzanine deck with comfortable seating, enhanced storage and features.  Other engineering improvements include cockpit engine room ventilation system keeping the sea environment out of the machinery. Also underwater exhaust virtually eliminating smoke and odor around the cockpit and reduced draft. She’s known for an exceptionally soft dry ride while maintaining excellent performance and economy stemming from her advanced hull design. The cockpit; among the largest in the class is beautifully finished with Teak decking, covering and coaming boards in the true Carolina style. The flybridge is large at 150-square feet and offers fantastic forward and side guest seating and beautiful Release Marine Teak ladder back seats accenting the custom style Teak helm pod. All capped with a custom J&J Marine molded FRP half tower with painted out “White” finish.

Arrangement and Interior Details

The cabin arrangement is the standard 3 cabin, 2 head with amidships master w/ island queen & en-suite head w/ shower stall. There is a bunk guest cabin to starboard adjoining the guest head w/ stall shower and VIP stateroom forward with Island queen also adjoining the guest head. The interior throughout is Cherry with Hi-Gloss finish, Whisper Wall wall coverings & headliner in “Cachet Ecru”  and “Cashew” color carpeting. Her custom interior décor is beautifully orchestrated including designer fabrics, upgraded Raised Panel solid Cherry locker doors, Granite Galley & Head counters, and numerous enhancements to the standard specifications. Exterior Finish/Construction

The boat left the New Bern Hatteras plant entirely painted with premium Polyurethane paint which will retain its sheen far longer than Gel Coat. The boat is built using hand laid E-glass FRP laminates vacuum bagged over a PVC core except below the waterline which is solid fiberglass.
