Originally a 72' Hatteras Motoryacht, an extension was added at Merrill Steven's shipyard in Miami with additional tankage and euro transom with pasarelle, extra storage lockers and lazarette. A stainless steel electrically operated salon door and circular stairway to the flybridge completed the aft deck. There is a circular stainless steel stairway from the pilothouse to the flybridge as well. Now 84', this customized 1987 Hatteras has continually been upgraded with recent new salon headliner, Matching white appliances in the galley. Now located in Key West, Florida.
The vessel needs new canvas bimini covers on the flybridge and exterior cushions and general maintenance. Recent price reduction reflects vessel's current condition. Good Value.
Forward belowdeck is the crew?s quarters consisting of two separate rooms sharing a head and shower. One room has bunks and the other a full size bed for two. There is another room with a single bunk, ensuite shower and adjoining head that could be used for additional crew or a nanny.
Aft of the crew quarters is the large engine room which also contains the two generators in sound shields, the watermaker, the air conditioning compressors, a workbench and much more.
Up the stairs you enter the excellently equipped wheelhouse. There is new oak wood flooring here and in the galley. There is also a custom stainless steel circular staircase to the flybridge.
Next aft is the bright, well equipped galley with recently upgraded stainless steel appliances. There is a roomy dinette to starboard.
The salon is oversized with formal dining for six forward and very comfortable couches and chairs aft. The built-ins are made of Brazilian hardwood and have recently been refinished. On the starboard side there is a staircase down to the master stateroom and the two guest staterooms.
Through the electrically opening and closing stainless and glass slider to the large aft deck with a table for alfresco dining for six. The deck is covered in teak here and there is another custom stainless steel circular staircase to the flybridge. There are also engine controls and warping winches here which make stern-to-docking simple.
Down a curving staircase and there is the large swim platform enclosed by the Euro style, reverse sheer transoms. In the starboard transom is a unique gas tank and filling hose and nozzle for refueling the tender/toys from the swim platform. There is a large, watertight door that opens to the fabulous lazarette. The lazarette contains a Sub Zero refrigerator, a Sub Zero freezer, a deep freeze, a full sized washer and dryer, a scuba air compressor, lots of storage and work space and it?s air conditioned! The hydraulic Besenzoni passerelle is housed in the overhead here and is easily extended and adjusted by controls on the aft deck.
The flying bridge is huge! There are three Crown helmseats at the very well equipped helm, large settees around a cocktail table and two sun bathing lounges. There is a second Bimini top covering this area. The hydraulically lowered mast sits atop a bar with six fixed barstools and houses a Jenn-Aire grill, sink, U-line refrigerator and U-line icemaker. Further aft is the circular staircase from the aft deck, a new Marquipt 1500 lb. davit, Sea Doo GTX Supercharged and a 15? Caribe tender with a Yamaha 60 four stroke.
