QA3 is a 1978 48' Hatteras LRC in very nice condition, especially her incredible, customized interior.  She is especially well-known in the Hatteras LRC Club for her experienced yachtsman's and long-time industry member's beautifully designed and customized interior fit and finish.  She is captain maintained and offers twin Detroit Diesel 130 HP naturally aspirated main engines with only 100 hours since major overhaul, KeyPower hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, Naiad stabilizers, two Northern Light generators, Dual Racor fuel filters with vacuum gauge for each main engine, 1,380 gallon fuel capacity, watermaker, 2500 watt inverter, spare propellers and shafts and a hinged mast to attain a possible 16' height for the Great Loop.

48' HATTERAS LRC VESSEL WALKTHROUGH

From the swimplatform, you enter the aftdeck via the transom door and then enter the salon through the wood and glass door forward. Once inside the salon, you will find a wrap-around settee with hi/lo folding teak table to port, galley port forward, two lounge chairs and entertainment cabinet to starboard and a storage cabinet, shelves and TV starboard forward. Walk forward and step up into the raised pilothouse, where you will find a side deck access door on each side, L-shaped benchseat and folding teak table and watch berth aft, helm forward and steps to the guest staterooms starboard forward. The master stateroom with king size berth and ensuite head with enclosed shower is amidships and the guest stateroom with v-berth and ensuite head with enclosed shower is forward. Flybridge access is via molded-in steps on each side deck. Engine room access is via two salon sole hatches with gas struts.
The headroom in the salon and pilothouse is 6'5", 6'3" in the master stateroom, 6'2" in the
master stateroom shower, 6'6" in the guest stateroom, 6' in the guest stateroom shower, 6'6" on the flybridge and 7'2" on the aftdeck. The master stateroom berth is 6'6" long and the guest stateroom berths are 6'6" long.

QA3 offers a master stateroom amidships with a king size berth and ensuite head with enclosed shower; and a guest stateroom forward with a v-berth and ensuite head with enclosed shower.

The salon offers a wrap-around leather covered settee with storage underneath and behind and a hi/lo folding teak table to port, two lounge chairs and entertainment cabinet to starboard, custom storage cabinet for liquor bottles, glass and dishware, shelves and slide out TV starboard forward, wood and glass door aft, opening side and aft windows with screens and blinds, varnished teak sole, rod storage, book shelves, custom storage in the bulwarks and settee arm rest, rod storage and two sole hatches with gas struts to the engine room.
