9. COMMENTS
ALUMERCIA is a full displacement, 38 metre explorer yacht built by Heesen Shipyard. This unique custom world explorer has many specifications which distinguish her from the others in her size. These include a tender/Jetski garage and a beach club, a galley and a pantry on different floors and can host up to 12 guests in 5 staterooms.
An extensive refit was completed in 2014, including the whole interior and major exterior changes. Also the main engines and generators are overhauled.
Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout her living areas to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere augmented by ALUMERCIA's impressive leisure and entertainment facilities.
10. REFIT NOTE 2014 / 15
The first part of the refit project started in mid-March 2014 and finished in 100 days. The entire interior design was re-done from scratch. At the same time extensive exterior changes were carried out.
INTERIOR
· All guest spaces re-designed
· New AV throughout the vessel
· Addition of Crestron control system
· New flooring, head-liners, curtains, blinds etc.
· Additional twin cabin added on lower deck
EXTERIOR
· Sundeck extended
· Sundeck teak removed and renewed
· Bridge-deck garage hatch removed
· 12cm height difference removed
· Bridge deck fully teaked and painted
· Original crane replaced with compact hydraulic crane with 2,000kg lifting capacity
· Shademaker awnings added to port and starboard
· Addition of onyx wet bar to starboard with refrigerator and icemaker
· Addition of circular teak dining table
· Table on main deck aft removed and replaced with built in sofa
· Revision of stern platform / garage
· New passarelle which also provides access to the water
· Better guest amenities including outdoor shower
· Addition of underwater lights
TECHNICAL
· Main engines, generators and Azipods overhauled
· AC unit replaced with 328.000 BTU compressor with RPM control panel
· All valves removed and replaced
· All water inlet lines removed and serviced
· All water, waste water, fuel and oil tanks emptied and cleaned
· Water and waste water tanks were painted
· Bilge cleaned and painted
· Water maker membranes replaced
· All electrical pumps removed and serviced
