Overview
"Calvin M" is the creation of two of Maine's top boat-builders, in a colaborated effort between owner, designer and builder, to produce a very funtional and reliable boat for a prominent local doctor and his family, to commute from their "island" home, to the mainland. Her soild fiberglass hull was built by Javis Newman, using a minimum of 10 layers of mat and woven fiberglass. Molded fiberglass deck assembly finished with excellent workmanship by the Lee Wilbur Company, also of Southwest Harbor, with an extended shelter. Her classic "Downeast" style and quality construction is a perfect boat for 'island hopping' or family cruising.
