Overview

(LOCATION: New Bedford MA) The Jersey 40 Executive Sport Fisherman is a legendary fishing machine with Jersey-style profile, excellent accommodations, and exceptional fish-ability. This 40’ Jersey is currently in storage and in need of restoration. This is a project boat and is priced accordingly.

The flybridge features hard top with full enclosure, centerline helm station, captain's chairs, and guest seating. The helm features a full complement of electronics including: Garmin GPS, JRC radar, Ritchie compass, and VHF radio. The flybridge is large, enclosed, and comfortable.

The roomy cockpit has prep station and salon entry. When you are not fishing the cockpit has ample room for casual seating and entertaining. The foredeck includes stainless steel bow rail.

The interior is large, open, and comfortable with lots of natural light. There is a convertible sofa and casual seating area. There's lots of room to relax after a day of fishing and discuss the ones that got away while enjoying a cold beverage. Forward and down we have the full galley down with refrigerator, three-burner range with oven, microwave oven, storage, and a stainless steel double sink. The convertible dinette seats and sleeps two.

For overnight and extended fishing trips there is a forward stateroom with large V-berth and a full head compartment with separate shower stall. Lots of room and excellent accommodations makes the fishing or cruising all the more enjoyable.

Performance is provided by twin GM 454 engines that need some work. There is an Onan 6-kW generator and reverse cycle HAC. From the photos you can see that Makai is a great-looking sportfisherman with lots of potential.
