Overview

"Havana Goodtime" is hull 19 of Jack Kelly Peterson 46’s. These are some of the most sea kindly and elegant world-cruising sailboats out there, and only 30 were built! Built by the Queen Long Shipyard, known for superior quality.

The 46 is the lengthened version of the well known 44.  The extra 2 feet give the 46 an elegant appearance and since the cockpit is not raised the lines remain clean. The cutter rig is very convenient and forgiving.  If you are not familiar with this boat, she is fast, smooth, and sea kindly in heavy weather.  She easily  handles sea states that keep other boats in anchorages.  The center cockpit gives an ample aft stateroom with separate companionway and generous aft head and shower.  This cabin is comfortable underway with convenient communications to cockpit during overnight passages.  Forward head has private access from forward cabin and from main salon.  Main salon has been modified from original design as the single birth on port side has been replaced with two seats with a console between.  Walk thru from main salon to aft cabin is on starboard side.  This hallway also gives access to generator compartment as well as engine room.  Easily handled by two, but single handed is not difficult, this boat has been setup for ease of sailing and will outrun anything of its size and more than a few slightly larger boats.
