ABSOLUT is a lovely, highly-customized and rare example of the classic Legacy 40 Express Cruiser. She is in excellent condition, having been professionally maintained and updated, her meticulous owners sparing no expense.

Unlike many of her sisterships, ABSOLUT has been adored and lavished with care by each of her owners. She has been appointed with multiple options, including her lovely Aristo Blue topsides and varnished teak trim, complementary upholstery throughout, stainless steel bow rail, satin-varnished teak interior and much more.

Her Mark Ellis hull is a proven design in most every condition and provides for a smooth, safe and dry ride that is hard to beat for her size. Her twin 370 hp Cummins provide for an easy and comfortable cruising speed of 23 knots and a max of 30 knots.

ACCOMMODATIONS

ABSOLUT provides the perfect balance of above- and below-deck accommodations. She sleeps two comfortably forward with a private, enclosed, en-suite head with shower and a fully-appointed galley. She features an L-shaped settee and a custom oval teak table with compass inlay.

Beginning forward is the owner’s stateroom with an island queen berth fore and aft with drawers and bulk storage space beneath the berth. There is additional storage space outboard both port and starboard, with (2) ample cedar-lined hanging lockers and a full-length locker with shelves.

There is direct access to the head, complete with vanity, sink and stall shower and several lockers for storage. All of the fixtures are custom. The Vacuflush head and holding tank were installed new in 2014.

The main cabin has an L-shaped settee to starboard in Almond Ultra-leather, with a beautiful oval teak table with a compass rose inlay. Below the table is a teak liquor storage cabinet. In addition, there is storage beneath and outboard of the settee with several lockers. Opposite to port is the U-shaped galley, complete with glass-top electric stove, built-in microwave, 12-volt /110-volt Norcold refrigerator, single stainless steel sink and numerous drawers and lockers. Corian counter tops provide ample space for cooking.

The interior is beautifully matched-grain teak, a special custom feature for this boat. She offers teak-trimmed doors and drawers that are varnished with a rubbed-effect finish. Soles are varnished teak and holly.

BRIDGE DECK

Up three steps from the main salon is the bridge deck, with helm station forward to starboard. The controls are laid out to be very functional as well as attractive, with the major electronics recessed into a console in front of the operator. There is a varnished teak and stainless steel steering wheel. Aft to port is an upholstered L-shaped settee with a pedestal table. This area is protected by a convertible top, which is supported by a custom radar arch and stainless steel frames. The sides and aft end can be completely enclosed with Eisenglass zip-in curtains.
