From the day she was ordered by her current owner in September of 2000, EROICA has had ONE owner/operator.  He visited the Mainship facility in St. Augustine, FL three times during her construction.  While EROICA was being built, he spec'd out a detailed outfitting plan and purchased equipment from her bow to stern after delivery.  Upon taking delivery at the factory on March 28, 2001, he cruised EROICA directly to Commonwealth Yachts in Gloucester, VA, and experienced Mainship dealer and service facility, for outfitting.  That was a six month process, rigorously supervised by the owner.  His purpose was very specific: a comprehensively equipped versatile, safe, self-reliant seaworthy three stateroom second home vessel for his young family to experience and enjoy the East Coast of North America and the out Islands of the Bahamas.  For the next fifteen years, EROICA has more than fulfilled that objective. 

After Being "commissioned" and "shaken-down" in the Chesapeake Bay, in December 2001, EROICA began cruising her family to the Bahamas.  She traveled more than 16,000 miles providing hundreds of year-round vacation days (at least 30% "on the hook") between Deer island, Canada, Long Island, and Bahamas.  More than 3000 of those miles involved towing a 25' Mako, including multiple trips between the U.S. and Bahamas, for both vessels to receive maintenance and upgrades.  From the day EROICA left the factory, she has been constantly indulged with rigorous maintenance and value-adding upgrades.  Now, having recently returned from two summers in Maine, she resides her family's residence and dock on Horlbeck creek in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.

EROICA's Documentation Identification is MPTSM046L001.  She is Hull No. 46, a "galley-up" three stateroom model of the 430 trawler line.  Come of her factory equipment has been removed, such as her washer/dryer unit that was removed during initial post-delivery 2001 outfitting to make room for her Village Marine watermaker, and helm bench seat, to make room for her two individual helm seats.  Other equipment has been replaced, as specified in descriptions.  Her two Cat 3126 diesels have1602 hours (port) and 1652 hours (starboard).  Her Kohler 9 KW Generator, which replaced a 7 KW Kohler in 2009, has 1378 hours.

Like the entire interior, all wooden surfaces of the original three staterooms, heads, salon, galley, and lower helm were refinished with three coats of Man O'War Maine Spar semi-gloss varnish in Spring 2014.  The helm console was enlarged in 2008 to accommodate a Garmin 4212 Chartplotter.  That unit was replaced in 2015 when Garmin 7212, installed as part of EROICA's NEMA 2000 system.  All Garmin plotters on the vessel have the lastest Bluechart g2 software.  Other owner-installed lower helm equipment includes:
