Description

 

The Mariner Orient 34 trawler is a well thought out cruiser that is safe, luxurious and comfortable for a couple with wanderlust and their family and friends.  She is well designed with two private cabins and a convertible dining/berth in the Saloon.  There is both good storage and elbow room.  The space flows nicely whether you are on her for an overnight to your favorite gunkhole or away on an epic adventure.  The Orient 34 will serve you well.  

She is powered by a very stingy Cummins 220HP Diesel and ably assisted by a Bow Thruster.

Great views from the Pilot House/Saloon or the Flybridge.

Overview

 

Accommodations and Walkthru

'Blue Dolphin", a Mariner Orient 34 has 2 private cabins each with it's ensuite Head.

Beginning at the bow is large Vee Berth with an ensuite Head to port and a large hanging locker across on starboard.  The Head has a commode and sink with pullout faucet/shower, a large teak mirror, a medicine cabinet behind the commode and an opening port.  An overhead Hatch with Screen and an opening port provide good ventilation.

The Electric Panel is on starboard just inside forward cabin with storage cabinet under.

Next aft is the Pilot House/Saloon/Galley with a Sliding Entry and the Helm on starboard.  The center section of the windshield opens.  There is a Convertible Table/Berth on starboard that comfortably seats 4.  There are large sliding windows on both sides for both light and ventilation.  The Galley is across on port and features a Princess 3 Burner Propane Stove, large, deep sink and an under counter refrigerator.  Built-in storage provides a place for everything. Two fixed ports at aft end of Saloon provide still more light.

The Generator is accessed under Helm/Galley Sole and the Cummins Diesel under Saloon/Dining area providing great service and maintenance room.

Three steps down from the Saloon is the Aft Cabin with its ensuite Head and single berths on both hull sides. At the stern of the cabin is a Companionway with a door and overhead sliding hatch leading to the aft deck providing both an escape and fantastic ventilation.  The Head has a sink, shower, commode and good storage plus a teak mirror opening port and additional storage.

The Aft Deck, across the stern features a ladder down to the Swim Platform and another ladder up to the Flybridge.  And, on the same level is access to the wide and safe Side Decks with solid, safe lifelines all the way around the yacht.

The Flybridge is very large with full helm and engine controls.  There are two long bench seats perfect for sightseeing, entertaining or napping on a perfect night at anchor. And, a lowering mast for a steadying sail or as a means of lifting heavier objects.
