Overview

"Dean's List" is a very clean and lightly used example of the popular Meridian 391 Sedan.  With only 80 hours on her upgraded twin Cummins QSB 425hp engines, she represents a great buy in today's limited brokerage market.  "Dean's List" is loaded with factory options and upgrades, and has been kept in the Northeast (out of the water and covered during winters) until recently making the trip to VA to be sold.  Some of her highlights include: Upgraded Cummins 425hp power package, full Raymarine electronics package (see "full specs" for complete list), Vetus bow and stern thrusters, low-hour Onan generator, beautiful dark cherry wood interior, central vacuum system, custom Meridian linen package, flybridge refrigerator, underwater lights, full flybridge enclosure package, cockpit and flybridge carpeting, interior carpet runners, windshield cover, foredeck sun pads, entertainment centers in both staterooms and main salon, and much, much more...  The boat has hardly been used, and it shows once aboard.  She is a "must see" for anyone in the more modern motoryacht market.  Very well kept- practically new!!

Vessel Walkthrough

"The Dean's List" offers a very roomy interior, especially for a 40' yacht.  Entering the salon through the aft sliding door, there is a comfortable settee to starboard (with a hide-a-bed beneath) and a beautiful high-low coffee table.  Forward to starboard is a raised curved settee and dinette table that drops to create another comfortable berth.  Aft to port is the electric panel and entertainment center.  Center to port are two matching chairs with storage beneath that are separated by a cherry-wood cocktail table with storage beneath. The entire cockpit sole is covered with plush carpeting and a carpet runner.

 Moving forward and down two steps is the functional galley to port. The galley features a beautiful hardwood sole, Nova Kool refrigerator and freezer, Karadon solid surface countertop, two-burner Kenyon stove with cover, Cuisinart convection microwave, stainless sink with cover, and beautiful cherry wood cabinetry and storage drawers.

Forward down the companionway are the two roomy staterooms and split head (port side) and shower (starboard side).  The guest stateroom is aft and down to starboard. This stateroom features a centerline queen berth, Toshiba 19" flat-screen TV, large hanging locker, and plenty of drawer storage.  The master stateroom is forward and also features a raised centerline queen berth, Toshiba 19" flat-screen TV, overhead hatch, and private entrances to both the head and separate shower stall.

The cockpit, which is almost entirely shaded by the flybridge overhang, features outdoor carpeting (currently stored), a comfortable bench-style seat at the transom (with storage beneath), a large storage locker to port, transom door to the swim platform, and molded steps that lead to the flybridge.  These molded steps are hinged, and raise with assistance of rams giving easy access to the engine room and lazarette.

The flybridge is quite large for a 40' yacht, and extends well over the cockpit providing shade to guests below.  The layout is excellent, with a large "L-shaped" lounge and cocktail table aft, centrally located wet bar and Dometic refrigerator, and bench-style passenger seat to port.  There is plenty of seating for all guests, and the feel of the bridge is that of a much larger yacht.  The helm is located starboard forward, and features an adjustable pedestal-style helm chair and excellent visibility.
