Overview

The “Big Wednesday” was built as the “No Problem” in 1975 for JoJo Del Guercio. She was the first of the famous 43’s built by the Merritt Boatyard. The boat was their first cold molded hull. The boat has been used to chase giant Bluefin tuna and blue marlin fishing in the Caribbean and USA. The ownership and fishing accomplishments of the boat and crews are legendary. She has been owned, operated, and maintained to a very high standard by the same family for the past 16 years in South Florida. Re-powered in 2007 with new Cummins QSC 540HP motors. She is fast, comfortable, economical and as beautiful a boat as you will find.

Accomodations

The Big Wednesday sleeps 2 people comfortably in one stateroom with V-berths forward with ample storage under each berth. In addition, the salon sleeps 2 guests with a convertible dinette and sofa. Head is located to port with a standalone shower, SS sink, and storage lockers. Hot water heater. In the companionway there are storage lockers for rods and reels as well as a microwave.

Salon/Galley

The galley is located to the port with a SS hidden sink, a built in refrigerator (port side), and a built in freezer (starboard side). TV/DVD combo on the counter top. Long sofa with storage underneath and a 4 person dinette with the map of the Caribbean with custom tackle drawers framing the sliding entrance door. The salon has a Fusion Radio with ceiling speakers, a Standard Horizon VHF Radio, and a Revere Elite Offshore 6 man life raft.

Deck

The cockpit is teak with 2 separate built in freezer/drink cooler combinations on the port and starboard side of the entrance door. The cockpit has plenty of length and storage with 2 long gaff lockers. The live well is in the deck and is 100 gallons and free flowing. The generator hatch is adjacent to the entrance door.
