The 50'Ocean Alexander Mark II replaced the original 50' Pilothouse model in 1986. She has a more modern appearance than her heavily-built predecessor with sleeker lines and a less trawler-like profile. The Mark II was built in Taiwan on semi-displacement hull with cored hull sides, moderate beam and a long keel for directional stability. Below decks, the 50' Mark II has the standard configuration with access to the lower level through the starboard side of the pilothouse. Enter the salon from the cockpit area. The salon is generous in size with a leather upholstered L-settee and teak salon table to starboard and two rattan chairs and teak table in the middle port. The U-shaped galley just forward of the salon on the port side is divided from the salon by a gorgeous teak counter with three bar stools. The galley is fully equipped with a four-burner Magic Chef propane stove and oven, a Litton microwave, an Amana side-by-side refrigerator, a trash compactor and stainless steel double deep sink. A new Corian counter top and stove back splash complement the decor nicely. A dry bar/entertainment area is located on the starboard side forward of the L-settee.
Up three steps to the pilothouse you will see a large station with leather covered watch berth, teak table, built in storage and steps up to the fly bridge.
Down six steps on the port side from the pilothouse is the landing where you will find a teak cupboard with Frigidaire laundry center. To starboard is the guest head with vac-u-flush head, granite counter tops and fully enclosed shower. Forward is the is the master suite with queen island berth and head with vac-u-flush toilet, granite counter tops and fully enclosed shower. The master suite also has a hanging locker, additional storage and a built-in vanity and mirror with drawers. Custom drapes and bedding are included.
Aft of the landing and down three steps are the two guest staterooms. To port, the stateroom has stacked single berths and to starboard the stateroom has a full berth. Both staterooms have drawers, lockers and lighting.
