Seldom do we find a Mark ll exhibiting such pride of ownership. Her original gel coat shines, her teak cap rails gleam, and her interior woodwork is warm with well polished charm. Step aboard at the swim step, through the transom door, and you’re in the right-size cockpit, perfect for sport and lounging. Its subtle overhang gives shelter if you need to remove shoes or slickers. The double doors open to the spacious entertainment space of the salon and galley, with large windows to enjoy the scenery around you. An inviting sofa and comfortable armchairs dress the area, which features a custom, expandable salon table, attractive end tables, and built-in cabinets. Leather bar stools sit at the breakfast bar, between the salon and the ample, well-equipped galley.
Steps up to the pilothouse, you find the helm seat, a full chart-sized navigation area, and a settee that’s comfortable for 3 or 4 guests (or for one person’s luxurious nap). The teak Ocean Alexander table isn’t currently in use at the settee, but stands ready, if you wish, to provide a handsome resting place for food, beverages, binoculars, your cruising guide, novel or favorite boating magazine. The condition of the woodwork will delight and the helmsperson will appreciate the commanding view forward, as well as immediate deck access via the port and starboard side doors.
The upper/flybridge helm is equipped with a second Simrad navigation control/display and full engine instruments. Two settees afford ease and relaxation for guests and crew. The bimini and full canvas/eisenglass enclosure provide shelter if the weather turns wet or windy. When the weather invites you out to explore, the power davit makes it easy to launch the tender from the upper deck, and deploy kayaks or bikes as well.
Below the pilothouse, the accommodations level presents a master queen stateroom forward, with private ensuite head and stall shower just aft to port. Opening ports and overhead hatch fill this spacious stateroom with light. The diesel heat control, conveniently located beside the bed, allows for perfect night time and morning temperatures. Moving aft from the master stateroom, the guest head (with its own stall shower) is to starboard, and a discreet, louvered utility closet to port accommodates the full-sized washer and dryer. Continuing aft, the full-beam guest stateroom features upper and lower bunks to port and an offset double to starboard, separated by a sizable hanging closet, cabinets, bedside tables and drawers. Each bed has its own dedicated reading light. This generous cabin offers lots of flexibility and comfort for your cruising guests. With attractive newer carpeting throughout the accommodations level (as well as the salon), plus easy primary colors throughout, HARMONY’s décor is lovely – we can hardly resist saying “harmonious.” Her owners and visitors alike will feel right at home aboard this deluxe and capable yacht.
