Ichi Feet has been our home afloat for nearly 14 years, during that time she has looked after us from Norway 
to the Caribbean, from Washington DC to the Med, in hot weather and snow, in calms and gales.  
In return we have looked after her with a program of annual maintenance and continuous upgrade as and when necessary. The time has come for us to move on to different travel, we shall be sad to see her go, but the time

HULL CONSTRUCTION         

Laid-up GRP, single skin with structural stringers and floors to Lloyd’s approved design specification. The gelcoat and three outer laminates incorporate a special Isophthalic resin and powder-bound matts.

SALOON                             

Access to the saloon from the companionway is down a set of shaped teak and stainless steel steps. Two teak grab handles are fitted either side of the companionway opening.

The saloon is extremely light and airy with seven windows, of which two of the three forward ones open. There are also two opening hull portholes. This contributes to the great feeling of space and light in the saloon.

Featuring an oval table and settee area to port, outboard of which is a pair of lockers and a central book shelf to the hullport.

The saloon tabletop is burr oak with a black inlay perimeter band and grab hand slots. It is designed to form, in its closed position, an occasional table, which is mounted on a very substantial pedestal incorporating a wine stowage locker with racks fore and aft both sides in its base. It opens to form an oval dining table.

There are two folding chairs stowed under forward cabin bed which provide extra, in-harbour seating at the table, or even on deck, when docked. To starboard is another settee.

Saloon lockers are customised for TV and home entertainment system.

Cupboard to accommodate glasses and fitted with a light and additional Lexan shelf.

Oak panel hullport liners with horizontal tongue and groove effect.

New 2012 Oceanair blinds in off-white to seven windows retaining light airy feel whilst keeping the saloon cooler in hot weather.

WASHER/DRYER              

Bosch washer/dryer fitted at the forward starboard side of the saloon.

NAVIGATION AREA              

To starboard and aft of the saloon, the chart table is customised around the flush- mounted electronics and navigational equipment.

A gravity stay is fitted on the chart table lid and there is provision for the stowage of Admiralty size, half-folded charts.

Stowage for navigational books and almanacs.

AC and DC electrical panels are located above the navigator's seat.

GALLEY                               

The galley is located to port of the cockpit, in the companionway to the aft cabin. Panels here give access to the engine compartment.

A large rubbish bin is fitted inside locker door adjacent to twin stainless steel sinks.

The cooker incorporates an electronic ignition system for all functions.

A harbour lock and cooker crash bar are fitted and the cooker is housed in a moulded GRP surround with radiused corners.

Panasonic NNV673S microwave and grill with sliding door latch.

REFRIGERATOR/ FREEZER               

A front-opening, keel-cooled Frigoboat F50 refrigerator system with digital temperature gauges and automatic door light. Fitted out with shelves.

Frigoboat W50F freezer system for chest coolbox with twin compressors run off single water-cooling pump. Digital temperature read out at galley. Fitted with a basket.

ENGINE ROOM                    

The engine room has 24V lighting and a 24V continuously rated extractor fan. It is insulated with foam and lead insulation, upgraded 2015 and clad with perforated sheeting. Accessed via two large doors and removable soundproofed panels.

Engine space able to be closed down in event of fire (MCA compliant).

Soundproofing to generator renewed 2016 and soundproofing cabinet repainted as necessary.

WORKSHOP/AFT STARBOARD CABIN                

Aft of the saloon on the starboard side is the workshop with upper single berth, Formica worktop inboard with rubber mat cover and access to stowage under. Hard wood vice edge.

Shallow chart drawer, drawers and cupboards beneath. Locker with shelf.

Watermaker and manifold fuel filter system on aft bulkhead behind fully joinered door.

OWNER’S STATEROOM        

Configured with a double berth offset from centreline and fitted with a proprietary battening system beneath the foam mattress.

There is a curved settee, dressing table and large hanging locker, in addition to abundant drawer and locker space.

Mirrored locker doors on forward bulkhead.

Bookcase outboard to starboard of berth.

High output 175A/24V alternator in addition to engine alternator.

GENERATOR                        

Westerbeke BTD 7.5 generator, complete with water separator, ammeter and voltmeter, supplying 7.5kVA at 220V AC/50Hz.

BOWTHRUSTER                   

Sleipner SP155TC 11Hp tunnel bowthruster (including GRP ‘eyebrow’) with control panel on steering pedestal - control panel renewed 2017. (Full out of hull service 2015).

HYDRAULICS                      

Lewmar 200-3 Commander system located in saloon to operate mainsail, headsail furling and staysail furling.

AIR CONDITIONING            

220V (50/60Hz) Cruisair air conditioning system, comprising of:

1 x 16,000 BTU unit in aft cabin.

1 x 16,000 BTU unit in saloon.

1 x 16,000 BTU unit forward.

Giving a total of 48,000 BTUs at 60Hz or 39,840 BTUs at 50Hz.

WATERMAKER                     

220V Seafresh 208A watermaker - 126 litres per hour.

High-pressure pump and pre-filters in engine room. Control panel, product water flow gauge and membrane bundle all in the workshop.

FUEL                                   

1,050 litres approximately (230 Imp gallons/277 US gallons) in one GRP tank.

WATER                               

950 litres approximately (208 Imp gallons/250 US gallons) in one GRP tank.

Sealed access panels to both tanks under sole boards.

TANK TENDER GAUGES        

Tank Tender system for fuel and water tanks, in addition to dipsticks. Calibration chart supplied.

HOT WATER                        

From one insulated dual coil calorifier approximately 76 litres (16 Imp gallons/20 US gallons) tank, heated by the engine’s heat exchanger, or by thermostatically controlled 220V, 2kW immersion heater element powered by generator or dockside power. (Tank flushed, immersion heater, thermostat and safety cut out new 2017).

PRESSURISED HOT FRESHWATER SYSTEM          

Based on 2 x Twin Par Max 4, 26psi automatic pumps with pressure accumulator tank.(Upgraded to latest Par Max 4 with integral pressure switch) and Acorn polypropylene   pipework and fittings.

HOLDING TANKS                

Two gravity discharge polypropylene tanks with through deck pump-out access to each heads. Tanks fitted with Wema gauges and removable panels for access/cleaning.

GREY WATER                       

Showers and washbasins discharge into two auto empty sump tanks, one forward and one aft. These tanks are evacuated by a dedicated electric Whale ‘Gulper’ pump directly overboard. Manual control switch in heads is also operational.

The galley sink also empties via an electric Whale ‘Gulper’ pump. Manual.

These three pumps are each operated by rubber toggle switches.

MANIFOLD SYSTEM            

Stainless steel manifold for seawater inlets to reduce through-hull fittings.

Extra 3rd manifold fitted to allow sea water/freshwater operation of toilets and sea water deck/anchor wash.

SHIP’S SUPPLY

RINGMAIN                          

220V AC ring main with 8 double 13A 3-pin UK standard Clipsal socket outlets located as appropriate throughout Ichi Feet, provides power in every cabin.

BATTERIES                          

Domestic: Heavy-duty ‘deep cycle’ 8 x 6V 20-hour rated Zenith AGM gel batteries giving 460Ah at 24V. New as of 2017

Engine start: Two separate 90Ah 12V sealed batteries giving a total of 180Ah. New as of 2016.

Generator: 12V sealed battery. New as of 2016.

All batteries are positively secured against inversion in case of a knockdown.
