Overview

BROKER’S COMMENTS
Oyster Brokerage are delighted to offer for sale this immaculate Oyster 56 Sarabi.  Winner of the Oyster Regattas Concours d’ Elegance on numerous occasions, this yacht is maintained to the most exacting standards.  She benefits from an in-mast furling cutter rig, with beautifully handcrafted Maple joinery below decks.  Perfectly appointed in every way, with highly specified levels of equipment throughout.
Early viewing recommended.
OWNER’S COMMENTS
We chose an Oyster 56 for our first sailing boat, as our children at that time were 9 and 11, and we wanted a safe and dependable yacht that would be our holiday home on water......it has been all that and more!  We deliberately specified her with comfort in mind; watermaker, full air conditioning, dishwasher and washing machine, she really is home from home.
Sarabi spent her early years in the Mediterranean as we enjoyed family holidays in Spain, the Balearics and Sardinia. In 2009 we crossed the Atlantic in 15 days 3 hours winning Class C of the ARC and the fishing prize!  We've cruised the Caribbean ever since, from Granada to the BVI's, taking part in Oyster regattas on the way and accumulating some glass & silverware in the process.  Being owner skippered, Sarabi has always been maintained to the highest standard.  We regularly get complimented on her appearance and comments that she certainly doesn't look her age.  Last year at the Antigua regatta we won the Concourse d'Elegance prize ahead of many newer boats.
We are selling Sarabi because we have ordered an Oyster 575.  Our children are now at university and we have taken early retirement so we're now in a position to spend a lot more time sailing and wanted the comfort of a little more space.  We are confident that whoever buys Sarabi will enjoy her as much as we have.
