Princess 62 combines high performance with spacious accommodation and dynamic good looks. Her deep V hull has been developed with a generous beam so as to allow a good sized galley to be located on the main deck in conjunction with a separate dining area and a large and comfortable aft saloon with its own entertainment centre. This allows the lower deck accommodation to be designed on the same principles as much larger boats with a full beam owner's cabin, a VIP suite forward, and two further guest cabins as well as a laundry centre. The wide beam also means plenty of room in the aft cockpit and on the flybridge with large seating areas, a separate sunbed, and a wet bar with barbeque. The hull design has been carefully configured to combine outstanding seaworthiness with high speeds so as to allow extended fast cruising whilst retaining simple and straightforward handling characteristics which are further enhanced through power assisted steering, electronic engine controls and a powerful bow thruster for easy manoeuvring.

This Motor Yacht has been serviced and refitted in June 2019.

REFIT/SERVICE WORKS

The list of service works completed in June 2019.

HULL PAINTING

  • The hull has been painted with silver/gold paint, radar arch in black, polished all
    superstructure. The job has been performed by Christodoulou working team using scaffolding covering all vessel with inside air-condition for the worker’s health and quality of the painting by controlling the correct temperature and humidity.

BOTH FUEL TANK AND FUEL HOSES CLEANED

  • An inspection hole has been made in both tanks, a cleaning of the tank has been made by removing ALL dirty fuel, flushing the tanks with clean fuel, and washing them with chemical additives. A gas free was needed to do the holes and new inox 316 covers has been welded in the holes. All hoses bringing the fuel from tanks to engines have been replaced.

MAIN MTU ENGINE SERVICE

  • An extensive engines service has been performed by Christos Karakozis (Ocean Nimbus) consisting in: change of oil engines and reverse gears, replacement of belts, replacement of filters of oil, diesel, reverse gear oils, cool and fluid filters, replace of emissions filters, macroscopic control of the engines, control of the alarms by e.c.u., control and valves regulation, change of coolant fluid 

ONAN GENERATOR SERVICE

  • An extensive generator service has been made by ENEQ, Onan distributors in Greece consisting in: replacement of lube filter oil, fuel filter, fuel /water separator, impeller, sea water pump repair kit, starter repair kit, riser mixer repair kit, alternator repair kit, raw water flow switch, thermostat, 5 liters of lube oil, coolant fluid.

SEA VALVES

  • Two main engine water valves have been replaced as in process of corrosion. Same with the generator inlet and outlet valve, all other valves controlled and used ashore Door to helm place has been regulated to shut correctly with water tidiness Hatch bag GRP crane was dismantled, rectified correctly, painted separately and re assembled to the vessel Flybridge Plexiglas has been dismantled, cleaned, washed and covered with 3M auto-adhesives looking much more trendy, and reinstalled.
  • Inox Fender has been dismantled, polished thoroughly and re installed with Sikaflex after the hull painting

BOW BILGE PUMP replaced with a new one

DOMESTIC SWITCHES replaced by electrician to work properly

ANCHOR WINCH has been dismantled, brought to working shop, serviced properly and re installed All previous internal & external lights has been switched to LED (95 total)

PORT FUEL GAGE has been re calibrated by authorized electrician

HORN has been serviced

PASSERELE has been thoroughly serviced, replaced sensors, new piston, adding of oil, new anti leakage kit.

INVERTER. A new Newmar Inverter has been installed

STERNTHRUSTER. Sternthruster service and prepare kit has been done

BOW & STERN THRUSTER joystick. New Sleipner type joystick controls have been installed in lower and flybridge guiding places

BLACK TANK WORKS. Dismantle, control and re install vacuum generator, replacement of crew WC pump, replacement of a new WC ball in guests’ cabin

WILLIAMS TENDER

  • Service & repairs of William motor made by Williams Greek distributor:
    Replacement complete turbo charge, multiplier, nozzles, injectors, change of oil, oil filters, fuel filter, steering cable, coolant, zincs
  • Fly bridge speakers has been replaced of bigger diameter and black color WiFi installation All TV’s (saloon with lifting mechanism, owners cabin, fwd cabin) have been replaced with new smart TV’s

ALL EXTERNAL UPHOLSTERIES HAVE BEEN CHANGED

  • New black Silvertex Bimini top
  • New black Silvertex flybridge cover
  • New black Silvertex cockpit cover
  • New black Silvertex dinghy cover
  • New black mesh Silvertex front windshield cover
  • New double stitched Silvertex grey upholstery to fly bridge
  • New double stitched Silvertex grey upholstery to cockpit
  • New double stitched Silvertex grey upholstery to bow
  • New whitish carpet in saloon, all other cabin carpets, cleaned biologically by specialised yacht cleaners
  • New upholstery to cover the bow hatch
  • All existing old style curtains and blinds have been replaced with lighter and more trendy colour blinds and aft curtain in saloon

TEAK

  • All teak onboard has been polished. Specially, the platform teak has been totally removed and replaced by a new 12mm teak. New fresh water pump with antiblock system

AIR CONDITION

  • Chemical/ antibacterial treatment in fan coils Chemical/ antibacterial to sea condensers (5 units) Control of thermostats, control of automatism, cleaning of sea filters, control of tidiness, cleaning of air filters of fan coils

WATER MAKER

  • Chemical/ antibacterial treatment
  • Antiseptic liquid in the membranes
  • Change of oils, control and cleaning of water flow meter, control of leakages, replacement of profilters

WHEELS

  • Both steering wheels have been replaced with new style Princess wheel with Princess logo
  • Same to William tender’s steering wheel

FENDERS

  • All new F type fenders (8) with black covers
  • All new pear type fenders (2) with black covers
  • All new floating ropes
