The two-stateroom interior differs from other mid-range express cruisers in that a second head compartment is tucked into the aft stateroom, a convenience seldom found in a boat this size. Both staterooms come with sliding privacy doors (rather than curtains), and a hardwood floor in the galley accents the high-gloss cherry joinery in the salon. In the cockpit, a semicircular settee offers plenty of guest seating. A wet bar is standard, and a walk-through windshield provides bow access. Note that the entire rear deck of the cockpit lifts hydraulically to permit walk-in access to the engine compartment from the swim platform. Additional features include a foredeck sun pad, an anchor washdown, and a power windshield vent. Standard 420hp V-drive gas engines cruise at 18 knots (30+ knots top).
Centrally located cockpit refreshment center includes a refrigerator, tip out trash bin, cutting board and sink.
The engine compartment on the 3860 is accessed easily by an electrically-assisted hatch that opens to the stern allowing unencumbered servicing and maintenance of the engine from the large swim platform.
The luxurious salon features supple LeatherCrest seating around an easily removed, artfully inlaid table with extended leaves. The salon also features two fold-out recliner style footrests. Overhead storage cabinets are as beautiful as they are easily accessible. The entertainment center opposite, contains a 20" flat screen TV/DVD player and stereo surround sound.
The double-wide sliding hardwood privacy door completely separates this large forward stateroom from the rest of the yacht and offers private access to the head compartment. The queen berth has an innerspring mattress with a folding feature that allows easy access to a large storage area. A 13" flat screen TV, two cedar closets, tailored comforter and sheets, throw pillows and ample drawer space provide comfort and luxuries that go well beyond necessity.
The mid-cabin stateroom has a stand-up dressing area, twin berths that convert to queen size, a vanity with sink and overhead storage, private access to the head compartment and a double-wide, hardwood sliding door. There's lots of under-berth storage and a hanging cedar locker. This is the ideal guest or children's quarters with enough spatial and sound separation to offer real privacy.
The forward head compartment offers a circular sliding shower door providing the maximum amount of room and convenience for use. Vanity has below and overhead storage and a Corian countertop with molded sink. A full length mirror and hair dryer round out the amenities.
