Overview

"Pegasus IX" was built by the Australian yard Sabre Catamarans and remains one of the company's flagship vessels. She possesses the elegant styling of a motor yacht, and the volume and performance characteristics of a premium power catamaran, and for those reasons and more, we are extremely pleased to introduce her to the market. Her accommodations include a huge master stateroom and two VIP cabins, all of which can be found on the yacht's main deck.

Pegasus IX is a near perfect vessel for the Bahamas - her shallow maximum draft of just over four feet, coupled with a top speed of 33 knots, is an alluring combination for that part of the world (and many other places too). Pegasus IX underwent a multi-million dollar refit in 2015 and is well-prepared for her next owner, and the countless hours of extraordinary Bahamas cruising that surely awaits her.

Vessel Overview:

Upon entering Pegasus, you will instantly be greeted by the warm and light tones of the Salon. Two large sofas are on the Port side, opposing two bucket style seats completing the sitting area. To starboard, is a large wet bar complete with two fridge/freezers and room for 4 at the bar. Forward to port is the Galley which would leave any professional chef excited to have the opportunity to prepare a meal. The open layout means that if the owner chooses to do the cooking, they are not shut off from their guests in the Salon.

The bar is flanked by a wide staircase with ample railings that offers access to the Pilot house and Master stateroom. Walking forwards to starboard, we have a Guest cabin featuring a Queen bed, ample storage area and an ensuite head. The VIP guest cabin boasts a King size bed and ensuite head. All cabins are naturally lighted by large windows which offer an excellent view to the "outside world". Forward is access to the bow which houses the yachts tender and garage for her array of toys. A day head opposes the guest cabin, while crew quarters are across from the VIP to starboard. Ensuite head and a queen size bed give the crew ample space to relax when off duty.

The Master stateroom is undoubtedly one of the largest on a yacht of this size. Full beam with panoramic windows and a private deck aft. With over 600 sq ft of living area and a king size master berth, you will be spending time in your own private oasis. The ensuite master head features a shower of gargantuan size, and his and her sinks. The private deck has a bench seat and breakfast table facing aft, to allow you enjoy the shallow depth cruising grounds that no other yacht this size could enter. A sitting area to port offers multiple seating options for you to take in the view, or a place to watch the sunset in privacy.

Forward of the Master stateroom is the Bridge, which houses the helm and controls for the yacht. Among other things, this makes Pegasus an excellent owner/operator layout for the experienced yachtsman as you are mere steps away from the controls, even at rest.

The fly bridge features room for 10-12 guests forwards at the large dining table to enjoy the amazing scenery you will be able to see in the Bahamas, or anywhere you choose to take her. Walking aft, a cocktail table with two large chairs allows you to unwind, or choose from the three sunbeds aft. The opportunity to have a partially enclosed flybridge means you can enjoy the views in every type of weather situation. A full wet bar to port, featuring a refrigerator and freezer are also under the fiberglass hardtop to shade you from the sun or any inclement weather. To starboard, a large gas grill makes preparing a delightful meal no issue at all.
