Overview

This is it! Sea Ray has done it again with the 400 Sedan Bridge. Three staterooms, two heads and an enormous flybridge capable of seating 8 people make the 400 Sedan Bridge the most accommodating vessel in the 40-foot size range. All with European styling and design one expects of Sea Ray. “Freedom” has a freshwater history and was brought to Florida from Michigan September of 2004. Low hour Caterpillar diesels and a complete electronics package add to her practicality and economy. “Freedom” represents an excellent value for anyone considering a low hour, three stateroom, diesel powerboat in the 40 foot range. Make an appointment to see her today.

Accommodations

Entering the salon from the cockpit one enters a bright, airy salon with an electronic, convertible settee to port and a comfortable, functional galley to starboard. Moving forward and to port, one finds a large dinette capable of seating six comfortably. The entertainment center is situated in view of the dinette, galley and convertible settee. Moving forward and down three steps, the guest staterooms are situated to port and starboard. The guest stateroom to starboard includes over/under single berths with the upper berth in a Pullman configuration. To port, the guest stateroom includes a double berths with a filler cushion that converts to queen berth. The guest head is situated to port and includes shower, vacuflush system, and vanity. Moving forward to the master stateroom, one finds a queen, island berth, lots of hanging locker space and stowage. The master head is situated to port and includes stand up shower stall, vacuflush system, and vanity.

The flowing layout of the salon where the galley, dinette, and settee are on a single level allows for the interaction of all owners and guests and is surprisingly roomy relative to other European styled sedans of this size. Additionally, the layout of her flybridge is also accommodating allowing as many as eight owners and guest to sit comfortably. The flybridge door leading to the cockpit provides a very quiet ride from the flybridge.

Galley

Cherry cabinetry accents the very functional galley which includes solid surface countertops, refrigerator/freezer, three-burner flat surface stove, coffee maker, microwave oven, Nutone blender, and hideaway trash receptacle. The “L” shaped galley is situated to port as one enters the salon. This galley-up arrangement allows for interaction between those preparing meals and guests.

Visibility from the helm is excellent and the full enclosure protects flybridge occupants from the elements.
